1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using remotto.ai and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Remotto is an AI-powered hiring ecosystem designed to connect companies with the right talent. The Service includes:

• An AI-driven sourcing and candidate matching platform for employers
• LIA -- an autonomous AI interviewer that conducts structured voice interviews, evaluates candidates, and generates detailed scorecards
• Currify -- an AI-powered CV optimizer that helps job seekers tailor their resumes for specific positions
• Candidate pipeline management, scoring, and analytics tools
• Communication and outreach capabilities for recruitment workflows

The Service is provided on an as-is basis and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without prior written consent
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures, authentication mechanisms, or access controls
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
• Use the Service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, source code, algorithms, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by Remotto and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including CVs, job descriptions, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant Remotto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content, including candidate scores, interview evaluations, CV suggestions, and matching recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a decision-support tool and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions
• AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors and should be reviewed by qualified humans
• Remotto does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content
• You are responsible for verifying AI-generated information before acting on it
• AI models are continuously improved and results may vary over time

7. Chrome Extension

The Remotto Sourcing Chrome extension is an optional tool that enhances the Service by allowing you to import candidate profiles from supported third-party platforms. By installing and using the extension, you additionally agree to:

• Use the extension only for legitimate recruiting and talent sourcing purposes
• Comply with the terms of service of each third-party platform you access through the extension (including LinkedIn, GitHub, and others)
• Not use the extension to scrape, harvest, or collect data in bulk beyond normal recruiting activity
• Not circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or technical restrictions imposed by third-party platforms
• Accept that the extension accesses publicly visible profile data on supported platforms and transmits it to the Remotto backend for processing
• Keep the extension updated to the latest version for security and compatibility

Remotto is not affiliated with LinkedIn, GitHub, or any other third-party platform. The extension interacts with these platforms as a user tool and does not imply any endorsement or partnership.

8. Third-Party Platforms and Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and services, including but not limited to LinkedIn, GitHub, DEV.to, Google Workspace, Greenhouse, Lever, and Workable. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies
• Remotto does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party platforms
• Third-party platforms may change their APIs, terms, or access policies at any time, which may affect the functionality of the Service
• Data imported from third-party platforms is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Remotto may suspend or modify integrations with third-party platforms without notice if required by changes in their policies or APIs

9. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service are available under paid subscription plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase
• You authorize Remotto to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice; continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law
• Usage-based features (such as AI interview credits or sourcing runs) are subject to plan limits; overages may be charged at the published per-unit rate
• Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Remotto and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. In no event shall Remotto's total liability exceed the amount you paid to Remotto in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Remotto and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account or by contacting us at legal@remotto.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we determine that your use poses a risk to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chihuahua, Mexico. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
